Third Howard Staunton Memorial Tournament

It will be a six player event this year. Two cycles total of ten rounds.

Simpsons have once again most generously provided the venue.

Malcolm Pein and his Chess Monthly has contributed some funds as has the Morris and Trudi Sobkowski Trust for junior chess.

The prize fund for this year is GBP 4000, a significant increase on last year's fund.
